Standing Strong Above the Pacific

Working closely with a family who lost everything in the Palisades Fire, we engineered this custom “stretched” Felicity to serve as a permanent, unbreakable foundation for their next chapter. To honor the rugged beauty and the environmental demands of the Santa Monica Mountains, we fortified the exterior with a high-performance envelope of fire-resistant cedar and industrial-grade metal siding.

Inside, the design prioritizes healing through light and volume. We replaced the standard entry with a massive 9-foot architectural bifold door that dissolves the wall, inviting the coastal mountain air and southern sun into a grand living space. From the expanded gourmet kitchen to the rare addition of a 1.5-bath suite and a dedicated “Discovery Loft” with a custom play nook for the children, every inch was tailored to give this family the room they needed to breathe, grow, and finally feel at home again.
